Launch of ‘African Voices’ publication

On Monday 15 October 150 civil society representatives, government officials and negotiators of the new strategy attended a panel debate at the Foreign Press Association marking the UK launch of BOND‘s African Voices publication. The aim of the project was to draw attention to the African civil society opinions in the process leading to the approval of a joint EU-Africa Strategy at the Lisbon Summit. On Tuesday 16th of October Gillian Ayong Ameck from ACTION for Conflict Transformation presented the publication at the European Parliament at an event hosted by Joseph Borrell, Chair of the Development Committee and former President of the European Parliament and Olivier Consolo, Director of CONCORD.
