The Portuguese NGDO Platform reports in their August newsletter on progress in preparing for the Civil Society Forum which they are organising on 15-17 November in Lisbon. Apart from this international event they are also preparing decentralised workshops in Portugal, where the different aspects of the EU-Africa Strategy will be discussed. Another topic of the newsletter is the importance of good governance and how improvement includes raising demands towards governments, both on the European and the African side.
