European Policy Summit: “Climate change: Keys to a concerted policy shift”

On the occasion of Green Week, the European Commission Directorate General for the Environment, Friends of Europe, and Unilever with the support of Dow co-organize a European Policy Summit entitled “Climate Change: Keys to a concerted policy shift”.

Under Discussion:

Discussions at the Summit will address the media’s role in informing citizens about the climate change debate in order to ensure much-needed societal support, the role of business in implementing green policies despite the economic recession, as well as the actions that developing countries such as Brazil, India and South Africa, and leading economies such as China, the US and the EU, need to consider and act upon in the months leading to Copenhagen.

Where & When:

The summit will be held at the European Commission’s Charlemagne Building in Brussels on Tuesday, 23 June from 16.30 to 18.00, and Wednesday 24 June from 9.30 to 16.00.
